SPECTRUM LAPPING OIL LUBRICANT

Lubricants used with any diamond compound should be compatible with the carrier used to give the best cutting action possible, maintain even dispersion of diamonds and produce uniform finishes. The proper lubricant will reduce lapping time and also reduce the amount of diamond compound needed to complete the lapping operation.

All SPECTRUM Lubricants are available in the following sizes:

SPECTRUM LAPPING STICKS

SPECTRUM laminated 6" lapping sticks are designed especially for fast stock removal using Spectrum Diamond Compounds. Made of highly compressed wood layers with alternating grain direction, saturated and bonded with synthetic resin, they are dense, easily formed, shape retaining and perform like a cast iron lap of top quality. The many shapes available include square and rectangular with 45° bevels or round with conical points.

SPECTRUM Soft Wood Lapping Sticks
Designed for immediate and final polishing. Square and rectangular shapes are beveled to 45° round sticks are pointed. All shapes are 6" long.

POLISHING BRUSHES

These top quality brushes will hold diamond compounds longer, and provide more cutting action, at lower production costs. They are made of natural stiff bristle for long life, available in three shape with long shank for straight hand pieces and in three shapes with short shank for contra-angle hand pieces.
